THAA Call for Proposals

Share your expertise with hearing instrument specialists of Texas through online continuing education courses and/or in person at the THAA Annual Conference. THAA is excited to feature experienced industry speakers like you presenting timely and relevant continuing education to hearing healthcare professionals.

Proposal Requirements

You'll need the following information in order to complete the proposal process. If your session is selected for an online education course or in-person session at the THAA Annual Conference, the information you are providing will be presented to TDLR for Continuing Education approval. Please be as accurate and as descriptive as possible.

  • Speaker name, organization, title, contact information, biography (100–150 words), and headshot (high-resolution JPEG or PNG file preferred).

  • Proposed session title, description (100–200 words), and learning objectives (3–4). 

  • Whether the session can be presented in person, online, or both. 

  • Pre-approved TDLR course number (if already acquired).

Proposal Process

  • You will be contacted by a member of THAA staff if THAA is interested in using your presentation for one of our upcoming education opportunities.

  • Submit your proposal by the end of March, to be considered for the THAA Annual Conference. THAA finalizes the speakers for each year's conference by the middle of May each year. 

  • THAA also offers online education, both live webinars and online recorded webinars. If your program lends itself to an online offering, THAA will contact you to discuss your preferred format. Recorded webinars remain in the THAA education library until the content is no longer applicable to members.
